The single-purpose Hush app was designed to help people having a migraine get some quiet time. The idea is simple and was drawn from several focus group discussions with migraine sufferers. Users can create or edit their message and send it to groups of people, while also lowering the brightness and volume of their phone for as long as they choose. I created a low-contrast, somewhat dark visual design to be easy on the eyes and designed the UX to be the fastest experience possible, allowing users to send a custom message to as many people as they wish, often with just one tap.
